The Opportunity

The role will provide claims administration support to claims handlers in The Netherlands. Working from the Lisbon Regional Delivery Hub, you will maintain accurate claim records, organise documentation and support administrative correspondence and follow-ups in line with established procedures and the claims handlers' instructions. This is an administrative support role, not a claims handling role; claims assessment and settlement decisions remain with the responsible claims handlers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Registering new claims and maintaining claim records in various systems.
• Processing settlements and payments in line with claims handler instructions.
• Obtaining insurer approvals and preparing settlement documentation.
• Uploading and maintaining claim documentation and correspondence.
• Supporting claims handlers with administrative claim related queries.
• Updating and closing claim files in accordance with handler instructions.
• Forwarding required documentation to Finance.
• Providing general administrative support to claims handlers.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English.
• A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work accurately whilst adhering to established guidelines, procedures and systems.
• A positive, proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Strong organisational skills, with a structured and methodical approach to work.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and experience in claims administration or insurance operations would be advantageous.
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills and embrace new challenges.
