Content Manager - Dutch Speaking

As the Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing our content strategy. You will work closely with our team of writers, editors, SEO's and marketeers to ensure that our content aligns with our mission, reaches our target audience, and strengthens our position as a leader in our vertical information provision.

Role
  • Develop, maintain and implement content strategy (news, informational and commercial) in line with our business objectives.
  • Manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with writers and editors to produce content that is informative, engaging, and SEO-optimized.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve the content strategy.
  • Manage the content team, including recruiting and training new team members, with oversight from the general manager
  • Work with other departments to coordinate content initiatives that enhance our brand awareness and user engagement.


Core Task
  • Creating content plans, identifying keyword gaps, and optimizing existing pages
  • Continuously improve and evolve the website
  • Creating and executing the long-term strategy for both SEO, Content and Commercial
  • Ensuring that the Dutch sites are meeting the highest standards of best practices in terms of Onpage- and Technical SEO and internal linking
  • Creation and analysis of traffic/rankings reports to identify new initiatives to increase revenue and earn organic backlinks
  • Create and manage content strategy, ensuring we're prioritizing and producing the right content for each vertical and market, both informational, commercial and news production for each vertical.
  • Tracking, reporting, and analysing traffic and commercial performance to make strategy adjustments where necessary and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Creating and tracking of the off-page strategy for the websites, both organically and paid off-page links (Not necessarily)
  • Ensuring the websites meets the highest standards of SEO hygiene


Essential Requirements
  • Strong editorial skills and content creation experience
  • Expertise in SEO and digital content strategies
  • Leadership and Team Management Abilities
  • Experience with content management systems and analytics tools
  • Passion for web3
