About the role

Customer service support specialist is intended to provide end to end support to our customers from onboarding through the full life cycle of the customer on a given product or products delivering an effortless and best customer experience in all touch points with the customer.

In this role You will

• Respond to customer inquiries and issues through various channels (e.g., phone, email, chat) in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose and resolve customer problems efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with customers, ensuring understanding and managing expectations.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement based on customer feedback and support trends.
• Exhibit commercial acumen to understand customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions or services.
• Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
• Demonstrate resilience and empathy in challenging customer interactions, applying conflict management techniques when required.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and share knowledge to enhance overall customer support capabilities.
• Uphold BP's commitment to sustainability awareness and ethical practices in all customer interactions.
• Continuously develop self-awareness and understanding of customer emotions to enhance service delivery.

What You will need to be successful

• C1 level of Dutch AND English
• Educated to university level or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in Customer Service
• Strong understanding of business needs
• Analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• High level of IT proficiency
• Must demonstrate a strong understanding of customers' needs / behaviours
• Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
• Strong time management and organisation skills
• Highly motivated
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office application
• Experience using SAP is an advantage
