Daily Responsibilities

As an Online Safety Specialist, your day-to-day duties will involve:

• Content Review: Assess Dutch user-submitted posts (images, video clips, text, and audio) against clear community guidelines and policy rules.
• Protect Online Spaces: Identify and take down harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content to maintain a safe online community.
• Data Analysis: Make fast, impartial decisions on flagged items using dedicated moderation tools.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with an international team of colleagues and supervisors to maintain high quality and accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in regular training sessions to stay informed on changing policies, digital trends, and cultural developments.

What We Are Looking For

Language & Mindset

• Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch (C1/C2 level) required. A strong command of English (minimum B2 level) is also necessary for internal communications and training.
• Mindset: A positive attitude, strong emotional resilience, and the ability to stay focused and accurate while performing daily tasks.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Tech Literacy: Comfortable navigating social media networks, digital platforms, and basic computer applications.
• Work Authorization: Must possess a valid EU passport or existing legal authorization to work in Portugal.
