Full-Stack Developer (Nuxt + Laravel) - Early-Stage Relocation Platform

About the project

Workwide is supporting an early-stage tech venture that has just completed its MVP - a digital relocation platform helping people moving abroad set up utilities, banking, insurance, telecom, and other essentials fast and hassle-free.

The founding team, originally from the Nordics and now based in Southern Spain, are third-time founders with a proven track record of building successful ventures. They have already secured several key commercial partnerships and are now preparing for a controlled beta launch. To accelerate development and scale the product, they’re looking for a full-stack developer who can take ownership of the technical evolution from MVP to a stable, scalable V1.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and expand the existing Nuxt.js + Laravel codebase.
• Implement new modules, partner integrations, and APIs.
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability ahead of beta launch.
• Collaborate directly with the founders on roadmap, priorities, and user feedback.
• Introduce light-weight engineering practices (Kanban, code reviews, CI/CD) that keep shipping speed high.
• Lay the foundation for a small, future tech team you’ll later help build.

Who you are

• You’ve built and shipped real products end-to-end, ideally in a startup or lean environment.
• Solid experience with Nuxt.js/Vue, Laravel/PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking full ownership of delivery with a high pace in pushing working code.
• Pragmatic - you care about clean code and fast iterations, not endless refactors.
• Ideally, you’ve lived or worked abroad and understand the friction of moving to a new country.

The offer

• Base salary: approx. €3,000-3,500 / month (initially)
• Equity options: granted upon hiring (standard vesting schedule applies)
• Remote flexibility, with founders based in Southern Europe
• Influence: direct say in tech decisions and roadmap priorities
