Internship Event Communication & Marketing - Start August/September for 5-6 months (Dutch speaker, all gender)

Who are we?

We, XLETIX GmbH, are the market leader for obstacle running events in Europe, based in Berlin. We organize and promote our sports events XLETIX Challenge presented by MaxiNutrition, schauinsland Muddy Angel Run, and XLETIX Kids for over 250,000 sports enthusiasts every year in Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland. Starting in 2025, we will also be organizing events in Northern Belgium, which is why excellent Dutch language skills are required for this internship position.

Are you interested in a 5- to 6-month internship starting in August or September 2025 and eager to gain real practical experience as an intern in the areas of participant communication and marketing? Are you highly motivated, strong in communication, structured, and result-oriented, and do you bring a good dose of team spirit? Then you are in the right place with us! Here you can get really hands-on, both in planning (office) and execution (on event). We offer you an exciting and paid internship with varied tasks and a high degree of responsibility in a creative team where you can fully contribute your ideas.

Your tasks in our communication team

• Contact person for our participants' questions across various channels
• Development of new communication strategies
• Independent preparation and sending of email campaigns for our participants
• Creation of result-oriented surveys for our participants
• Management of our on-event check-ins with support for participants and B2B teams as well as management of volunteers at check-in

Your tasks in our marketing team

You will...

• create content for various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with your creative and innovative ideas
• learn to independently edit photos and videos and inspire our participants with your content
• comment and support in our ever-growing community on all social media channels
• monitor, analyze, and optimize our marketing campaigns
• support the team in creating content, directly and live at our events
• handle communication with participants through email campaigns

Your profile

You...

• speak Dutch (at least C1 level or native) as well as German or English
• are studying marketing, business administration, or communication and need to complete a mandatory internship. Additionally, you are interested in extending the mandatory internship with a voluntary one if necessary
• are familiar with common office applications, online tools, and social media
• can work independently, responsibly, and structured
• are eager to not only work in the office but also get hands-on at events
• ideally, have a driver's license (Class B)
