Junior Collection Analyst for Benelux

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Collection Analyst to join our multilingual Collection team! Reporting to the Cluster Collections Supervisor for France and Benelux, your primary responsibility will be collecting overdue funds from customers using various methods, primarily phone calls. You will also manage reconciliation differences, resolve disputes, and build strong relationships with clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with customers in the Benelux and EPC regions and positively impact client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collections: Maximize overdue funds collected from customers through phone calls, emails, and other methods.
• Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution: Identify reconciliation differences and disputes and follow up to resolve them.
• Client Account Management: Regularly review customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries regarding past-due accounts and provide necessary information.
• Invoice Management: Provide invoice copies and statements to customers.
• Reporting: Prepare reports or extract invoices to assist Collection Specialists in settling payments.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications & Profile:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a credit & collections department.
• Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of SAP and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Collections Expertise: Ability to collect overdue payments while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Results-Oriented: A strong focus on meeting collection targets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of work effectively.
• Learning Ability: Quick learner, especially in adapting to new computer systems.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Eagerness to Grow: A desire to learn quickly and grow within the role.
