The Role

Your Role and Responsibilities

As Legal Counsel you will support Kyndryl's business team in Europe, with a focus on the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, and you will be working with the broader Legal team to maintain business operations, possibly including in areas of corporate law.

Together with your colleagues and counterparts across Europe, you form Kyndryl's European Legal team - supporting the entire breadth of Kyndryl's business activities in Europe, including drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial agreements, such as, e.g., outsourcing and infrastructure services contracts.

A proactive work approach with a strong sense of ownership and leadership is as important to succeed in the role as is the ability to, and enjoying to, work in cross-border teams. A growth mindset is key since you will have the opportunity to continuously learn and build expertise.

Required Skills

• Lawyer with experience and interest in contract drafting and negotiation
• Ability to show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders
• Problem-solver with an ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues
• Team player with hands on and can-do mentality
• Agile with a strong sense of ownership and leadership
• Law Degree from a Dutch or Belgian university (additional relevant legal qualifications -LL.M etc.- would be considered an advantage)

• 1-3 years of professional experience as a lawyer or in contract management and/or negotiations, preferably from a well-renowned law firm or from an inhouse counsel role

• Strong communication skills and working proficiency (verbal/written) in Dutch and English are necessary (advanced knowledge of other European languages would be valued)

• Regular travel may be required on business demand (the candidate may be based in any EU country)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

You can prioritize and easily shift between different tasks and communication styles.
