Project Procurement Manager with French/Dutch

As a Project Procurement Manager you will be actively involved in supporting the development of the Transformation of Industries ( TI ) business and Electrification, Automation and Digitalization ( EAD ) in particular.

Join our distributed team and be integral part of the Energy Transformation, supporting decarbonization through EAD via various products and solutions.

Mastering project related procurement challenges with a team while keeping focused on procurement rules and regulations.

The world of project procurement managers today is characterized by interdisciplinary cooperation with various other departments, project teams, technical functions, and global commodity managers, to name just a few.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

For our Project Procurement department, we are currently looking for a Project Procurement Manager, to join our Europe and Africa regional team in office locations in Brussels or Bucharest.

As our new Project Procurement Manager, you will be assigned to Projects once it is kicked off for execution and be part of project team acting as a procurement single point of contact, where work closely with Commodity Managers ensuring all procurement activities are synchronized with project millstones. You will be responsible to build, monitor and report the project procurement plan creating a project centralized supply chain end-to-end reporting view.

You will be in charge to support the Project team in or procurement risk & opportunities topics, delegate Procurement ad-hoc project demands and consolidate lessons learn. You will also assure tall project procurement activities adhere to standardized processes establish and align the procurement targets with execution of projects.

Our Project Procurement Managers will be the voice of projects towards Procurement organization driving the transition to a project-centric organization, by focus on Customer and bringing the supply chain to the next level.

WHAT YOU BRING

Besides a passion for decarbonization the industry and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for:

- A motivating teammate, who is resilient, responsible, and structured with excellent communication skills. You are able to interact with collaborators across all levels in the organization.

- You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment. You also have project management skills and basic knowledge of KPIs and reporting.

- We are looking for someone perfectly fluent in English and basic Dutch and/or French.

- Furthermore, we expect you to have either a Bachelor or Master's degree in business administration, engineering together with 3+ years of experience within Procurement and/or Project Management.

- You are as a person curious and want to learn and contribute to the organization, as well as you are good at managing different partners and with excellent communication skills. You know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project. It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations.

The SE TI EAD MF&OP P organization is responsible for managing 3rd party spend as well as developing procurement strategies of direct material fields that will allow Siemens Energy to maintain competitive position in marketplace and support company's vision to become the most valued energy technology company.
