Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an SEO Expertto own and manage the SEO for one of our Dutch sites focused on web3/gaming/tech.

In this role, you willwill collaborate with the site's General Manager directly to ensure the development and execution of effective SEO strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute advanced SEO plans with an awareness of EEAT (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles, tailored to the web3 and blockchain niche, focusing on both immediate and long-term objectives.
• Perform regular in-depth SEO audits to identify opportunities and challenges in technical SEO, content, and aspects of EEAT, aligning with the latest SEO best practices.
• Work closely with content creators and web developers, ensuring SEO principles are integrated across all digital assets, with a nod to EEAT where relevant.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance and website analytics.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in SEO and web3/blockchain.
• Utilize skills in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to optimize the site's performance and user experience, with consideration for SEO standards.
• Engage in extensive keyword research and optimize content to maximize relevance and authority in the web3 space, incorporating EEAT elements where appropriate.
• Implement a link-building strategy focused on acquiring high-quality backlinks to enhance domain authority and support SEO efforts.
• Identify and address technical SEO problems, enhancing aspects of the site that contribute to better search engine performance.
• Continuously seek new methods to refine SEO tactics, keeping abreast of industry changes and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital environment.

Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of successful strategies and campaigns. Ideally with a background in tech and web3.
• Demonstrated interest and understanding of the web3 and blockchain industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SEO tools (such as GSC, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and deliver results.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong grasp of technical SEO aspects, including site audits, schema markup, and optimization for speed and mobile responsiveness.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective link-building strategies, with an emphasis on acquiring high-quality backlinks.
• Ability to conduct thorough keyword research and optimize content to align with SEO best practices.
• Flexibility to adapt to the rapidly changing digital landscape, especially in the tech and web3 sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex SEO concepts clearly.
• Experience working collaboratively with content creators, web developers, and other team members to implement SEO strategies.
