Job Description

As a global player and buyer of goods and services, the EPO (European Procurement Organization leverages technical excellence to develop best TCO solutions to secure the ArcelorMittal's supply chain. Managing 28.5 $bn spend worldwide we are providing efficient and reliable services to internal customers. The SPC team acts as a pivotal point to connect and coordinate the IT topics, Compliance, PAs needs, Buyers and Categories. As well as the owner of processes and a compliance guard within the ArcelorMittal. Branches out to Central SPC team and Local SPC teams covering the day to day needs for Procurement organization across multiple locations in Europe.

As a SPC Specialist this role provides the key and initial bridge for the different departments and daily operations tasks, it provides and facilitates the communication cross departments and teams and ensures that the duties needed for onboarding of suppliers are carried out. SPC Specialist is part of the specific workflows in digiPACE and carries following duties:

Guarantees and respect of processes and rules of purchasing, conformity with ISO standards

As team member of the Vendor Management Central team within European Procurement organization:

• performing vendor due diligence
• managing vendor management generic mailbox
• managing requests in digiPACE - creations, extensions, modification
• supporting other teams in digiPACE platform
• supporting suppliers if needed
• to be a key referent O2 vendor management process and digiPACE supplier module
• managing escalation
• Contribution to value plan of EPO
• Part of Compliance and SOX
• UPI requests
• Vendor qualification process
• Project related to improvements of the tools and processes
• Cleaning of database
• Monitoring the pending items
• Creation of INC
