Accounts & HR Assistant with Dutch

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance & HR Assistant to support the Finance Manager with daily financial and administrative tasks. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone looking to build experience in finance and payroll within an industrial / recycling environment.
The role involves assisting with payroll preparation, accounting tasks, purchase orders, and monthly reporting, as well as providing general HR administrative support to managers and employees.

Key responsibilities include:

• Payroll assistant responsible for managing payroll weekly and monthly
• Supporting Finance Manager with Local accounting and journal postings
• Creating and managing Purchase Order (PO) numbers
• Posting purchase invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
• Resolving invoice disputes with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers

Qualifications

Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate who meets the following criteria:

• Minimum MBO Level 4 education in a financial or administrative field
• Maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
• Solid knowledge of Dutch VAT legislation
• Basic knowledge of the Work-Related Costs Scheme (WKR) and BUA
• Understanding of Payroll process & regulatory governmental submissions of the Netherlands
