Job DescriptionCredit related tasks - Ensure all internal credit policies and procedures are adhered to and help to develop or enhance such policies and procedures; 
- Ensure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements; 
- Help to prepare various credit reports to be presented to Senior Management; 
 - Perform pro-active on-going credit monitoring and risk management on the client as well as portfolio level; 
 - Follow the resolution performance on blocked customers with the team. Ensure mitigation / escalation actions duly performed
- Work closely with Commercial Teams to ensure collection guidelines are adhered to and issues quickly resolved (agency Credit Committees / ad hoc exchanges)
- Negotiate and settle non-payment disputes with clients efficiently /Researching and resolving disputes and deductions 
- Communicate effectively and maintains a professional relationship with external and internal stakeholder (customers, Sales, Supply chain, banks, credit insurers, collection agencies) 
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure duties are properly performed and employees are working towards common business goals. This will include preparation of the annual performance evaluations ( gedp) 
- Recruitment 
- Follow changes , trends and automations 
Technical competencies:
 - SAP and financial systems knowledge 
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control procedures
- Prepares overdue reports, credit utilization summaries, and supports reporting to management.
- Understands and enforces compliance with internal credit & collection procedures, and external insurer requirements.
Experience in managing bank guarantees and corporate guarantees, including validation and expiry tracking
