We are very excited to welcome an AP Analyst in our team! The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You'll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.

As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Validate, approve and post PO and non-PO invoices Calculate VAT, tax and withholding tax
• Check and verify supplier documentation for compliance with country legal & tax requirements
• Pay vendors by scheduling payment runs
• Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding finance and manage exceptions
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues
• Handle complex issues escalated from analyst level. Escalate it to coordinator level in case no resolution.
• Provide support to P2P team objective
• Suggest process improvements where possible
• Create and take action on aging and payment-on-time accounts payable reports periodically with special focus on month ends; Ensure the accuracy of the reports
• Based on the Q-analysis and priorities, cascade the invoice processing priorities to Analysts
• Check debit balances regularly and ensure payment is received for outstanding credits
• Prepare periodic analyses of vendor and PIT accounts
• Ensure SOX compliance and proper reporting for audit purposes

Who You are:

• You have college or bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or experience within the field
• SAP knowledge is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point
• Good command of written and verbal communication skills in English
• Dutch knowledge (level A2)
• A good understanding of general accounting processes
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing top notch customer service
• A team player with a can-do-mentality
• Critical thinking is a must
• Certified Lean Six Sigma is advantageous
