About the role:
As our HRBP Dutch Intern you will be joining our dynamic HR team in Barcelona. As an HRBP Intern, you will support the EMEA & APAC HR team in delivering strategic HR initiatives and providing comprehensive HR support to our Dutch-speaking employees located in EDC (European Distribution Center in Belgium).
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multinational environment and to develop your HR skills in a supportive setting.
You will:
- Support HR Operations: Assist with day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Talent Management: Support the HRBP team in talent acquisition processes, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Data Management: Maintain and update HR records and employee information in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Compliance and Reporting: Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and help prepare HR reports as required.
- Employee Support: Provide first-level support to employees for HR-related queries and issues.
- Project Participation: Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and improve HR processes.
- Learning and Development: Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops for employees.
You are:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using HR information systems.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn and grow.
- An understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds and an ability to work in a multicultural environment.
