Purchasing Specialist with Dutch

SKF are establishing a Purchasing service center organization supporting SKF units in EMEA region. We have an exciting future ahead of us towards a clear Purchasing strategy and road map. Purchasing have a powerful role in the journey towards the ambition of an efficient, digitalized and automized Purchase-to-Pay process.

The Purchasing service center will play a vital role in this journey, by executing the tasks in scope with accuracy and speed, but also to standardize way of working and focus on continuous improvements.

We are looking for Purchasing Specialist for "Indirect Materials and Services" to our Purchasing Operations Team, who can work independently, takes initiative and enjoys working together with the purchasing department on joint successes.

Your day-to-day work

• Supporting Purchasing team in SKF B.V. with administrative and tactical work
• Creating and updating external supplier accounts
• Monitoring the purchasing process
• monitoring delivery times
• creating purchase orders
• Supporting internal employees in creating purchase requisitions
• Able to negotiate prices and save costs
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders from SKF B.V.

We expect you to have/be

• At least 2 years of work experience as an operational buyer or in Procurement teams in BPO/SSC
• results and action-oriented individual with proactive approach and good interpersonal and communication skills
• strong Procurement tool experience (SAP, SAP Ariba)
• Business fluency in English and Dutch
• Willingness to travel
• Experience of working in multinational company
• Flexibility in learning new competencies on-job in procurement environment
