SMB Account Executive - Dutch Speaking

Zendesk is hiring! We're looking for a motivated self-starter who has a consultative sales approach, provides excellent customer experience, and offers polished presentation skills. Our SMB Account Executives are responsible for crafting, managing and closing net new sales opportunities within given territory. Ideal candidates will bring a proven track record in sales achievement, with Software/SaaS experience a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential SMB clients through market research, prospecting, and networking efforts.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer pain points, challenges, and objectives.
  • Present Zendesk's suite of customer service and engagement solutions to prospects, effectively demonstrating how they can address specific business needs.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations that showcase the value and benefits of Zendesk's offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers and solution consultants, to design and deliver comprehensive solutions for SMB clients.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, accurately tracking sales activities and forecasts in CRM systems.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals while ensuring alignment with company guidelines.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape to effectively position Zendesk's solutions.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and potential upsell opportunities.
  • Participate in sales training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to enhance skills and share insights.


Required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional proficiency in English and Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch.
  • 3+ years of full cycle sales (B2B) experience; software/SaaS experience is an advantage
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to multitask a high volume of opportunities at all times
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; move quickly, think strategically and are superb at tactical execution
